Boxing Classes Designed for Your Skill Level and Goals

Open Classes 

At Central Oregon Boxing, we’ve designed our schedule to cater to all fitness levels, personal goals, and experience levels, ensuring everyone gets the most out of their training experience. Whether you’re just starting your boxing journey or looking to take your skills to the next level, we have classes tailored specifically for you. We offer a variety of classes to suit your needs and goals.  

 

Virtual Coaching with Christian Valverde—Included with Every Membership
Train like a pro with Christian Valverde, a seasoned fighter and coach from Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. With international fight experience and a relentless coaching style, Christian brings the heat even when he’s not in the room. His custom 1-hour virtual workouts are designed to keep you sharp, focused, and constantly progressing.

With remote door access through Kisi, you can hit the gym 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and follow along with Christian’s structured training sessions on your own schedule. Combine these workouts with your in-person classes to maximize every round—and make every session count.

Monday

Technical Drills with Coach Angel

6:30p-8:00p

 Ready to tighten up your game? This class is all about precision, timing, and ring IQ. Under Coach Angel’s sharp eye, you’ll drill advanced fundamentals, sharpen your footwork, and fine-tune your combinations with purpose. Expect focused reps, movement patterns, and defensive work that push your technique to the next level.
Perfect for boxers looking to move beyond the basics and train like they mean it. 


Tuesday

Youth Boxing (Under 12)

5:00p-6:00p

 Our Youth Boxing Class is designed to be fun and engaging, offering kids under 12 the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of boxing. Through age-appropriate drills, games, and exercises, young participants will build confidence, coordination, and discipline in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether they're looking to get active, learn new skills, or just have fun, this class is a knockout experience for every kid! 

Tuesday Night: All-Skills with Coach Chaz

6:00p-7:30p

 Our biggest class of the week—and for good reason. This high-energy session brings the whole team together, from beginners to seasoned fighters. You'll run technical drills, partner work, conditioning, and most nights end with optional sparring. Whether you're here to learn, push your limits, or test your skills, this is where the Central Oregon Boxing community shows up and levels up. 


Wednesday

Youth Boxing (Under 12)

5:00p-6:00p

 Our Youth Boxing Class is designed to be fun and engaging, offering kids under 12 the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of boxing. Through age-appropriate drills, games, and exercises, young participants will build confidence, coordination, and discipline in a supportive and energetic environment. Fight IQ & Strategy with Coach Angel

6:30p-8:00p

 This is where smart boxers are made. In this class, you’ll slow things down and sharpen the mental side of your game—ring awareness, timing, shot selection, and defensive decision-making. Expect partner drills, controlled situational sparring, and real-time coaching that teaches you how to think a few moves ahead. Less sweat, more chess. Perfect for fighters looking to level up their ring craft and start fighting smarter, not just harder. 


Thursday

Boxing Fundamentals

5:00p-6:00p

 Ideal for beginners, this class focuses on the core elements of boxing. Learn the basics of stance, footwork, and punches while building strength and coordination. Whether you're new to boxing or want to reinforce your foundation, this class offers a supportive environment to help you develop proper technique and confidence in the ring. 

Women's Boxing Clinic - 8 Weeks (4/10 - 6/5)

6:15p-8:00p

 Our Women’s Boxing Program is a high-energy, 8-week series for all fitness levels. Each class combines boxing technique with cardio and conditioning to build strength, boost confidence, and burn calories. Expect a fun, supportive vibe with no pressure or ego — just great workouts and real skills. Whether you're brand new or looking to level up, this program packs a punch. 


Saturday

Open Sparring - All Members Welcome

2:00p-??:??

 This class is open to all members looking to apply their skills in live sparring sessions. It's a great opportunity to practice techniques, sharpen reflexes, and gain real experience in the ring. Whether you’re new to sparring or more experienced, this class provides a controlled and safe environment for all skill levels to grow and improve.
